Al Ahly recruits Tunisian Sassi

Al Ahli Club announced on Sunday the signing of Tunisian player Zine El Din Khamis Sassi from Al Wa’ab of the second division to strengthen the ranks of its first football team in preparation for the new sports season 2025-2026. Zinedine signed a contract to join the dean of Qatari clubs for a period of five seasons ending in 2030, in the presence of Abdulrahman Mohammed, vice president of the club’s football team.

The club confirmed in a statement published on its official website that the choice of 22-year-old Sassi came in accordance with the technical vision of the club’s management for the future, especially as he is young and good at playing in the defense and midfield lines and has distinct capabilities, which will make him one of the useful elements for Al-Ahly in the next stage, in which it faces many challenges at the local and foreign levels.
