The first football team of Al-Rayyan Club held its training yesterday in preparation for the new season (2025-2026), which will start on August 14, and the team’s training was led by the assistant coach after the team’s technical director, Artur George, suffered a health scare, and the first days of the team in the training inside the covered hall to gradually return to the high technical level before traveling to the foreign camp, and the team is scheduled to travel to Spain on July 12 until the first of next August, and the Rahib will play six friendly matches during the foreign camp.Al-Rayyan management has supported the team with 5 players and a goalkeeper so far, namely Muhammad Ibrahim Simo, Jassim Jaber, Abdullah Youssef Saralakhtam, Ahmed Alaa, Bahaa Al-Laithi and Mahmoud Abu Nada, and the Palestinian Wissam Abu Ali, the striker of Al Ahly Egypt, was very close to moving to the ranks of Al Rayyan Club, during the current summer market, but some press reports confirmed during the past hours that the deal was close to stalling due to the unreasonable demands of the Egyptian Al Ahly.
