Amr Diab’s new album “Ibtedina” received a wide response from artists after its official release on music platforms, confirming his continued success and renewal in the artistic arena.
Mona Zaki was one of the first artists to express her admiration for the album, posting a clip from Diab’s recent concert in the North Coast, in which he and his daughter Jana sang “Kidnapped Me” for the first time. She commented: “Congratulations to Amr Diab, and so proud of Jana. This scene made me tear up, I can’t wait to see you reach the highest places,” she said.
Ahmed Helmy also shared a congratulatory message to El Hadba in a funny and distinctive way during his theater show “Bani Adam” in Jeddah, where he played the song “Ibtedina” on stage, and commented via Instagram: “Congratulations, Amr, on the dangerous album. Always present with us … Congratulations to you and all the Bani Adamin.”
Hala Sedky expressed her admiration for Amr Diab’s first concert this summer, writing: “A new party and the first of the Sahel concerts for the star Amr Diab, a long journey full of fatigue, sleepless nights, effort, sacrifice and renewal. Success can be easy, but continuing is the hardest. Your songs are all the memories. Bravo Amr.”
