The “Belt and Road Forum for Journalists 2025” was held in China, with the participation of about 100 representatives from press associations and media organizations from more than 50 countries and regions.
The forum, titled “Promoting Dialogue among Civilizations and Global Modernization with the Power of Journalists,” saw discussions focused on dialogue among civilizations and the applications of artificial intelligence.
In his speech at the forum, He Ping, president of the All-China Federation of Journalists, said media from around the world should build bridges of understanding to promote the prosperity of civilizations and the voice of peace to keep civilizations connected.
Andrei Krivashev, rotating president of the Belt and Road Journalists Network, emphasized the importance of journalists from different countries to promote cooperation and understanding, avoid bias, and rely on objective reporting.
Last year, the forum was held under the theme “Expanding the Path of Opportunity and Sharing a Bright Future” in the Chinese city of Chongqing.
