Elon Musk shares vision for AI, electric vehicles at QEF 2025

Doha: Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, called for regulatory reforms in the automotive and artificial intelligence industries to keep pace with rapid advancements. Speaking remotely at the Qatar Economic Forum (QEF), he reaffirmed his commitment to leading Tesla for the next five years, addressing investor concerns about his long-term dedication. Musk also clarified that his advisory role to former US President Donald Trump through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) poses no conflict of interest, emphasizing that it is purely consultative with no decision-making power. He praised the department’s recent achievements and highlighted the need for adaptive policy changes.
