First Qatari teams launch summer camps as Al Rayyan mission arrives in Spain

Al Rayyan FC launched the first of our clubs’ summer camps, with the arrival of its mission to
Spain yesterday, to start the preparatory phase in preparation for the start of the
competitions of the new football season 2026-2025.

Al-Rayyan is the first Qatari club to start its foreign camp this summer, in a move
that reflects the seriousness of early preparation under the leadership of Portuguese coach Artur George,
who seeks to build a strong and cohesive team that meets the ambitions of the management
and the fans.
The team will hold its camp in Spain until the first of next August,
The technical program includes playing six friendly matches with different European teams,
to be revealed later, with the aim of raising the level of readiness
physical and technical for the players.

Artur Jorge has included 26 players in his list, most notably Spanish striker
veteran Rodrigo Moreno, who returned to the ranks of Al Rayyan after the end of his
loan period with Al Gharafa.
The coaching staff is counting on his great experience to provide the required addition in
the front line, especially with the start of a season that is expected to be competitive.
Al Rayyan will open its official campaign in the new season against Al Sailiya
on August 16 in the first round of the Qatar Stars League, amid
high hopes for a strong start that will establish a successful season that brings the team back to the forefront
of local competition.
