Jamaican Mason Holgate at Al Gharafa

Al Gharafa FC announced yesterday that Jamaican defender Mason Holgate has arrived in Doha in preparation for joining the first football team from the English Premier League.

Mason is 28 years old and plays as a center-back, and has had professional experiences with Barnsley, Everton, West Bromwich Albion, Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday. The player was welcomed by an official delegation from the club.

He immediately headed to Al Gharafa’s headquarters to undergo routine medical examinations, before
signing the contracts and the official announcement of the deal.
