Medical aid provided by Qatar arrives in Port Sudan

On November 20, 2024, Qatar’s ongoing humanitarian efforts continued with the delivery of medical equipment to Sudan, as a Qatari plane arrived in Port Sudan carrying vital MRI and CT scan devices. This second batch of medical aid, intended to support the Sudanese Ministry of Health, reflects Qatar’s ongoing commitment to assist the Sudanese people, especially in light of the challenging conditions caused by ongoing conflicts. The shipment was received by Sudan’s Acting Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, alongside Qatar’s Ambassador to Sudan, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sada​
