Parisian deluge. Saint-Germain humiliate Real Madrid with a four-goal thrashing

Paris Saint-Germain sealed their qualification for the final of the Club World Cup with a crushing 4-0 victory over Real Madrid, on Wednesday evening, in the semifinals. Fabian Ruiz, Ousmane Dembele and Gonzalo Ramos scored in the 6th, 9th, 24th and 87th minutes, and with this victory, PSG set a date with Chelsea in the final on Sunday.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois started the game with a lot of pressure from PSG, but he came up with two great saves in the first few minutes, first from Fabian Ruiz’s powerful left-footed shot and then from a dangerous header from Doue from close range in the 4th and 5th minutes.

Despite Courtois’ brilliance, Real Madrid’s defense was unable to withstand the Parisian pressure for long. In the 6th minute, Raul Asensio made a bad mistake in the box, Dembele took advantage of the situation and dribbled past Courtois before going down, but the ball bounced back to Fabian Ruiz, who easily put the ball in the back of the net for the first goal.

The Royals had no time to catch their breath before they were dealt a second blow in the 9th minute, when Rüdiger misplayed a ball, and it went straight to Dembele, who beat Courtois and scored the second goal for Paris.

In the 24th minute, the knockout blow came in the form of a quick counter-attack initiated by Hakimi and a perfect cross to Fabian Ruiz, who cleverly dribbled past Asensio to score his third goal for Real Madrid, much to the amazement of the Real Madrid fans.

The Parisians continued to dominate the game, with Real Madrid’s players completely absent and without any danger, and the first half ended with PSG leading 3-0.

At the start of the second half, Paris continued to press and scored a fourth goal through Doue in the 48th minute, but the referee disallowed it for offside on Dembele at the start of the attack.

In the 57th minute, Hakimi sent in a dangerous cross, but it went straight into Courtois’ hands.

Valverde then came up with a crucial intervention in the 62nd minute, cutting off a dangerous ball from Barcola that was on its way to a fourth goal at the second post.

Paris continued to dominate the game, with Real Madrid’s stars completely absent from the game, with only a handful of attacks that did not rise to the level of danger.

Gonzalo Ramos deepened the Royals’ wounds with the fourth goal, receiving a pass from Barcola inside the area, making a brilliant turn with his back to goal, and then unleashing a powerful right-footed shot into Courtois’ net.

Polish referee Szymon Marciniak blew his whistle in the 90th minute with no stoppage time, with Real Madrid players resigned to the heavy scoreline.
