The Qatari passport has been ranked 47th globally, according to the latest quarterly update of the Henley Passport Index, which measures passport strength based on the number of destinations accessible without a prior visa.

According to the index, Qatari passport holders can travel to 112 countries either visa-free or with a visa on arrival—reflecting Qatar’s steadily improving position on the global mobility map.

A report by CNN Arabic noted that passports of GCC countries ranked highest among Arab nations, highlighting the growing strength of Gulf passports in recent years, thanks to bilateral agreements and increasing diplomatic visa facilitations.
