Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal bids farewell to the Club World Cup with its head held high

The Brazilian team Fluminense sealed its qualification to the semifinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, after a thrilling victory over Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia with a score of 21, in the meeting held yesterday evening, Friday, July 4, 2025, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, within the quarterfinals of the tournament, and Al-Hilal played a heroic match and a strong performance, but it was not enough to qualify for the next round of the tournament, Italian Simone Inzaghi, the technical director of the Saudi Al-Hilal team, expressed his sadness after the loss, praising the spirit of his players and the attitude of the supportive fans throughout the team’s journey in the Club World Cup.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, Inzaghi said: “I congratulated each player individually, they gave everything they had on the pitch. “We played 5 games in a very short period of time, and in the second half of today’s game we deserved more than what happened, the players didn’t fall short.
